In other news the U18 side lost yesterday unluckily to Manchester
City. The away tie was actually played at the Reds academy and
despite Paul Barratt scoring for the Reds City manage to scrape an
undeserved 2-1 win.

The Reds have now confirmed the chage to Adidas in the summer for
kit manufacturing. The deal will see a whole new range of goods
from Adidas ratherthan Reebok. No money value of the deal has been
revealed as yet. It will of course also involve a change of seats
in the Anfield Road end to eliminate the Reebok sign.

The Reds will, subject to a medical definitely sign Gabriel Paletta
in the summer. A deal with his club Banfield has been agreed and
the defender who starred in the U20 world cup will play the closing
championship with them until the summer.

Next weeks tie with Benfica is likely to see the Portugese side
without Geovanni. Benfica are currently second in their
championship and have recently got back to winnings ways after two
consecutive defeats.

Jose Reina has insisted that he hopes his former side Barcelona
thrash Chelsea. The Reds star is still fuming over the sending off
down at Chelseaand hopes Barca score four in each game over them.
Here Here!!

Finally the Reds are trying extremely hard at the moment to change
their April 15th match with Blackkburn. April 15th of course is the
anniversary of the Hillsbrough disaster and the Reds had asked the
Premier league for no game but they ignored us. now the Reds are
working on a new date for the game with Rovers who from all accounts
are trying to co-operate.

Hillsbrough may have happened 17 years ago but the fight for justice
goes on.
