Team Stats : This is the ninth game between the two sides at Anfield in the
Premiership. City have won just the once in those games. That game was back
in 2002-03.

City score on average one goal a game at Anfield in the Premiership. The
Reds on the other hand average just over two a game.

Overall in the premiership the Reds have won three of the last five games
including this reverse fixture back in November. That game saw a John Arne
Riise strike win it for the Reds.

In all games the Reds have won 75 games over City from 150 in all. City
have won 12 times at Anfield in the league from 68 matches.

The biggest ever win for the Reds in the league was a 6-0 thrashing of City
back in 1995. On that day Robbie Fowler bagged two of the goals. The
biggest City win at Anfield came way back in 1929 when they won 6-1.

Player Stats : Robbie Fowler has scored for both sides in this fixture.
Both Fowler and Hamann have scored three times against City in the
Premiership. They lead the way of the current Reds.

There has been one Red card in the fixture - Richard Dunne at Anfield saw red.

Xabi Alonso will look to play his 50th premiership game for the Reds.

Peter Crouch will hope to start his 20th league game for the Reds.

Steven Gerrard has been subbed 49 times in the Premiership so far in his
career.

Harry Kewell has nine league goals for the Reds so far.

Referee : Dermot Gallagher - averages a red card every other game this
season and just under 2 yellow cards.

Betting : Liverpool 1/2, City 5/1, Draw : 12/5
