[Liverweb] Fowler Returns

Last night saw the amazing return of Robbie Fowler to Anfield. Rumours had
been doing the rounds all week but many had been written off as the usual
waffle of we know someone who knows someone. That same story that had gone
round every transfer window since God left.

But then last night it came true and the legend that is Robbie Fowler has
returned to Anfield. I have to say I'm excited by the return and think
he'll bag a few goals for us. For now the deal is for six months but
knowing Robbie he'll earn a longer term deal because with Robbie you get
goals and that is something we have been missing.

I've added in the old stats for Fowler now to the squad page. They make
great reading
330 games and 171 goals. In the league alone its 210 starts, 26 sub
appearances and a whopping 120 goals.

Fowler takes the vacant number 11 shirt. He is not eligible for the FA Cup
game at Portsmouth though but may make his second debut for the Reds
against Birmingham at Anfield on Wednesday night.
