Robbie Foy, Ramon Calliste, Paul Willis, Paul Lancaster, Calum Woods
have all been told they are not being retained for next season and
are free to look for new clubs.

None of the above managed to break into the first team, although
Scottish under-21 international Foy, who spent a spell out on loan
at Wrexham last season, was an unused substitute in a Carling Cup
tie against Tottenham in 2004.

Welsh under-21 striker Calliste, who signed on a one-year contract
last summer, was a regular for the reserves last season, while
Willis, Lancaster and Woods were fringe members of the second string
squad.

In potential transfer news Daniel Alves is reportedly mulling over a
move to the Reds. The Sevilla full back is said to be interested in
the deal.

A couple of new tables have just gone on to Liverweb now which over
the next week will get added in to the menu bar on the site

http://www.liverweb.org.uk/alltimetopflight.htm

This table shows how all clubs have fared in the top flight and is
based on a two points for a win basis for equality purposes. The
Reds sit in second place at the moment behind Everton as the Blues
have spent more time in the top flight than the Reds.

This highlights all clubs to have played in the main four divisions
in England and how they fare in terms of winning drawing losing.
This ignores where teams drop to the old second division like the
Reds in 1954 for example. Agains this is based on two points for a
win. The Reds sit on top.
