[Liverweb] Weekly Article/news and Portsmouth tickets

This week teletext article has now been sent and is presented below in
original unedited format

This week we are building up to the FA Cup semi final and what we really
must see as a win match. We must win this because we must be looking to
show Chelsea we are ready to fight. It may be too late for this season in
the league but we must be able to compete at the biggest stage
domestically. To go out at this stage of the competition as well would end
the season here and now.

Of course one thing to help the players to get that win as us the twelfth
man. We must make the short trip to Old Trafford and show our support in
the loudest way we can. We can get behind the players like we did in our
last semi final against Chelsea. And of course that time we roared them on
to victory and then went on to win that trophy.

This week also sees the youth side going to Manchester to play in the youth
cup final. We are three goals up and these are exciting times for the
young players. They put much hard work in during the first leg and got
half a job done. Now to finish it off. Dont forget as well that the last
time we appeared in the final of this trophy we also made the FA Cup
final. An omen to defeat Chelsea perhaps?

In other news Real Madrid have stated that Steven Gerrard is on their
target list for the summer transfer window. This comes despite him being
under contract from last summer and for another four years yet.

Fernando Morientes has said that he doesn't intend to leave but instead see
out his four years at Liverpool. He has two and half years to go yet on
his contract and he says that he wants to win things at the club.

Florent Sinama Pongolle has said that if he is to come back to the Reds it
is to play football. However if he sees Rafa bringing in one or two new
strikers then it's likely he'll ask to leave the Reds with Blackburn)his
current loan club) being a likely destination.

In rumours the Reds are said to be keeping an eye on Ludovic Giuly at
Barcelona. Giuly scored Barca's winner on Tuesday night in the San Siro
but has not agreed to a new contract as yet with Benitez allegedly watching on.

Param defender Danille Bonera is a top target for the Rds
allegedly. Bonera has been an alleged target in the last two transfer
windows with a deal last summer apparently very close. Should Parma cash
in on the centre back the Reds are allegedly leading the way to buy him.
