due to a neck injury.

Alexei Smertin should be fit for Charlton but Rommedahl and Sorondo
are both still out.

Riise, Traore, Warnock, Luis Garcia, Alonso, Gerrard, Hamann,

Team Stats : The two sides met in early February at the Valley where
Charlton won the match 2-0. That was their third won in five games
over the Reds.

The Reds have won four, drawn one and lost one of the six
premiership games at Anfield so far against Charlton.

The Reds average 2 goals a game at Anfield against Chalton - who
themselves average just under one goal a game.

The Reds have twice come from behind to win against Chalrton in the
Premiership. They have lost a game once having taken a lead though.

In all league games the Reds have 28 league wins to Charlton's 19.
At Anfield the Reds have won 16 to Charlton's 6. There hasn't been a
home league draw since 1998 when the sides drew 3-3.

The biggest Reds win at Anfield in the league has been 3-0. That
happened in both 2000 and 1958. The older game saw the great Billy
Liddell bag two of the goals.

Player Stats : Fernando Morientes will hope to play his 50th
Liverpool game in this one. He is also looking for his 10th
Liverpool game.

Robbie Fowler has four goals in this fixture for the Reds. He is
joint highest scorer in the fixture with Michael Owen. Fowler will
start his 300th premiership game if he is on from the beginning of
this one.

Jamie Carragher is one of two players to see Red against Charlton.
Stephen Wright is the other although both came at the Valley.

Steven Gerrard has been subbed 49 times.

Xabi Alonso and Peter Crouch are one booking away from a suspension.

Referee : Martin Atkinson - eleven games so far this season and 35
yellow cards as well as one Red card. Took charge of the Reds' away
loss at Fulham earlier this season as well as Charlton's away loss
at Wigan.

Betting : Liverpool 2/5, Charlton 6/1, Draw : 11/4

Liverweb Prediction : Liverpool 2 Charlton 0
