[Liverweb] International Reds

Some Reds were in action last night on the international stage.

Steven Gerrard played the first half of England's win over Uruguay.
Jamie Carragher arrived on 30 minutes and played the rest of the
game. Peter Crouch came off the bench on 64 minutes and scored ten
minutes later to get England back in the game.

Jerzy Dudek played the first half for Poland and kept a clean sheet
for them against USA. Poland carried on to lose the second half 1-0.

Scott Carson played for England on Tuesday night for the U21 as they
won 2-1.

Luis Garcia played the first half for Spain. Xabi Alonso played for
an hour and Morientes played the last 20 minutesfor Spain as they
twice came from behind to win 3-2 against the Ivory Coast. Pepe
Reina was an unsed sub for the Spanish.

Steve Finnan, Didi Hamann and Djibril Cisse never played for their
countries.
