REVEALED: RESULT OF BAROS INJURY SCAN

Rafael Benitez and Liverpool fans this afternoon got confirmation of the
news they were dreading - Milan Baros could be out of action for almost a
month after injuring himself while on international duty on Wednesday night.
Baros was substituted while playing for his country against Macedonia in a
World Cup qualifier and early fears that he'd sustained hamstring damage
were today confirmed when the player underwent a scan at Melwood.

A club spokesperson told liverpoolfc.tv: "Milan returned to Melwood this
afternoon (Thursday) and underwent a scan. Unfortunately that has shown a
pull in the hamstring of his left leg and he is likely to be out for
between three and four weeks. Milan will not travel with the rest of the
squad to Middlesbrough but will begin his rehabilitation at Melwood on Friday."
