Head to Head - Premiership Head to Head
LAST corresponding Fixture : Liverpool 2 Everton 1

Squads : The Reds don't have any major injury concerns aherad of
this game. Djimi Traore has a slight thigh injury which would leave
the door open for Riise and Warnock to battle it out for the left
back slot.

Everton can pick a squad containing Duncan Ferguson for the first
time in seven games. Nuno Valente should be fit again but Mikel
Arteta is struggling with a back injury and may need a late fitness
test.

Liverpool : Reina, Finnan, Kromkamp, Carragher, Agger, Hyypia,
Warnock, Riise, Traore, Garcia, Gerrard, Alonso, Hamann, Sissoko,
Kewell, Fowler, Morientes, Crouch, Cisse, Dudek.

Everton : Wright, Hibbert, Weir, Stubbs, Yobo, Valente, Naysmith,
Osman, Cahill, Neville, Arteta, Carsley, Davies, McFadden, Beattie,
Ferguson, Kilbane, Van der Meyde, Turner.

Team Stats : The Reds are aiming for a win in this to complete their
eleventh league double over the Blues. It would be their first
double since the 2000-01 season. That season a late Gary McAllister
goal sealed a 3-2 win for the Reds.

Two of the last five Anfield games have ended as no score draws.

Everton haven't won at Anfield since a Kevin Campbell winner in 1999-
00 season.

Both teams are in form at the moment although Everton haven't
actually won away from Goodison since January at Portsmouth.

The Reds havent lost a home league game since October when Chelsea
ran out convincing winners on the day. That is the still the Reds'
only home loss of the season.

The Reds are one goal away from conceding their 100th home league
goal against Everton.

Player Stats : Steven Gerrard hopes to start his 300th Reds game in
this match. He is the clubs leading scorer this season with 19 goals
so far. He is also the club's leading league scorer this season with
8.

Djibril Cisse goes in search of his 9th league goal for the Reds. It
would also take him to 20 Liverpool goals in all competitions. Cisse
himself has proved quite good at scoring as a sub. He already has 6
to his name as a Red which has him joint second in the scoring sub
charts. He has a long way to reach first though - David Fairclough
on 18.

Robbie Fowler has the most goals in this fixture in the Premiership.
He has scored 6 goals against Everton. For Everton it is Duncan
Ferguson who leads the scoring charts in the league with 4.

Robbie Fowler has made the most Liverpool premiership appearances in
the derby with 15. Jamie Carragher is just one appearance behind him
on 14.

Referee : Phil Dowd - has taken charge of three Reds games this
season - two being cup ties and always away from Anfield. Two of the
games were wins and one loss. He hasn't taken charge of Everton this
season in the league.

Betting : Liverpool 8/15, Everton 5/1, Draw : 9/4

Liverweb Prediction : Liverpool 2 Everton 1
