FLO BLOW CASTS A SHADOW OVER CUP WIN

Liverpool's joy at reaching the Carling Cup Final has been tempered by a
serious injury to Florent Sinama-Pongolle.

The young French striker damaged his cartilage shortly after coming on
as a late substitute for Milan Baros in the 1-0 victory over Watford at
Vicarage Road.

It is not yet known how long he will be ruled out for but Benitez said:
"I will have to talk with the doctor but unfortunately we think it is a
very bad injury.

"We have not had the best of luck with injuries of late and this is
another blow. We will have to wait and see."
