GARCIA INJURY CONFIRMED - TRAORE ALSO OUT

Liverpool today confirmed they will be without the services of Luis Garcia
for up to a month and Djimi Traore for ten days after both players picked
up injuries in Monaco last night.

Garcia has a hamstring injury after pulling up just two minutes into the
1-0 Champions League defeat while Traore has sustained a minor knock to his
knee.

Liverpool FC Head of Press Ian Cotton told us: "Both players underwent
scans this afternoon which showed that Djimi has a medial ligament sprain
to his right knee that is likely to keep him out for ten days.

"Luis Garcia has suffered a tear to his left hamstring and will be
sidelined for between three and four weeks."

Spanish defender Josemi needed 20 stitches in a head wound following the game.

* Dietmar Hamann is suspended for the clash with Olympiacos on December 8
after picking up his second yellow card in the Champions League last night.
