DEBUTS FOR ANFIELD NEW-BOYS
Liverpool will give Premiership debuts to new signings Luis Garcia and Xabi
Alonso at Bolton on Sunday.
Another Spaniard, full-back Josemi, is expected to return from a back
injury which forced him out of Tuesday's Champions League home defeat by
Graz AK. Goalkeeper Chris Kirkland (back) is unlikely to be fit to be on
the bench at the Reebok.
If Josemi does return, Jamie Carragher would probably move to a centre-back
role in place of Swiss defender Stephane Henchoz.
Bolton manager Sam Allardyce again has a full squad to choose from.
Following Wednesday's 2-1 victory at Southampton, Allardyce has no fresh
injury worries to contend with, with only Florent Laville on the long-term
absentee list.
Striker El-Hadji Diouf, who last week signed on a year-long loan deal from
Liverpool, has now acquired his work permit, but is not allowed to play
against his parent club due to Premier League rules.
