Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse has spoken of his frustration at not
getting a regular run in the side.

The Frenchman has been restricted to a substitute role for most of the
season with Peter Crouch leading the attack on his own.

Cisse admits he is finding life tough on the bench, but he is ready to wait
for his chance and prove himself to Rafa Benitez.

"It is true I have achieved a very good start to the season, with a lot of
goals," Cisse told France Football.

"It is frustrating to not be always in the starting XI. But the coach makes
his choices.

"I didn't have any talks with him about that, he didn't give me any
explanations, but I have a normal relationship with him.

"I accept his choices, we will see later. I am patient.

"Obviously, I won't spend the whole season on the bench, but we are just at
the start of the competition.

"It is a period for experimentation. The coach is trying a lot of things,
so I have no reason for being worried.

"I am waiting, hoping it won't last too long. If the situation does not
evolve, perhaps I will have other words in December."

The former Auxerre man, who is currently on international duty with France,
is confident Les Bleus can secure qualification for the World Cup by
beating Switzerland this weekend.

"About the French team, I have never been worried," added Cisse.

"I knew we would win in Ireland and I know we will win in Switzerland."
