REDS AGREE FEE WITH VILLA FOR BAROS

Liverpoolfc.tv can confirm that the proposed transfer of Milan Baros to
Aston Villa has this evening moved a step closer after the two clubs
agreed a fee for the Czech striker.

Baros, who has also been the subject of a bid from French side Lyon, has
travelled to the Midlands for a medical.

Earlier today Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez said: "Baros at this moment
is our player but he might not be in the next two to three days.

"We have had a very good offer from Lyon and another offer from Aston
Villa. The player himself wants to stay in England so I would say Aston
Villa are closer to a deal."
